Hoax bomb threat to Air India flight

Karippur: A telephone call claiming that a man carrying explosives would travel in an Abu Dhabi-bound Air India flight leaving from the International Airport here at 8.25 pm today, turned out to be a hoax, police said. The caller, identifying himself as Hussain, called the Jet Airways counter at about 4.20 pm and said a man carrying explosives would travel in the flight carrying 130 passengers, police said, adding that the call came from Sharjah.
