New Delhi: Civil Aviation Ministry has initiated the process of removing Arvind Jadhav from the post of Chairman cum Managing Director of Air India, sources have told CNN-IBN. Jadhav's case will soon be refereed to the Cabinet Committee on Appointments.
Sources say there is a problem in finding Jadhav's replacement as no one wants to go to Air India. Air India carries an accumulated loss of Rs 18,000 crore, debt of Rs 40,000 crore and working capital loan of Rs 21,000 crore.
