Kasargod: The Mangalore Air Crash Victims’ Families Association on Friday demanded compensation for all families of the victims as per the recent judgment of? the High Court.
Association leader Kalingam Narayanan and KATA vice-president N A Sulaiman told mediapersons here that majority of the families were yet to get the full compensation as per rules.
They said that the Kerala High Court had ordered payment of not less than `75 lakh as compensation to each of the families of the victims following a petition filed by Abdul Salam of Kumbla who had lost his son in the plane crash. The judgment was hailed by Civil Aviation Minister Vayalar Ravi and other political leaders.
