False alarm forces AI plane to make emergency landing

New Delhi: A Jammu-bound Air India plane with 122 passengers onboard was forced to land on Wednesday under "emergency conditions" following a false alarm soon after its take-off from the airport here.
The flight landed safely at 1.15 PM at Terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport here and engineers inspected the aircraft. "Since no problem was found in the plane, it was cleared for take-off immediately," the official said.
