Mumbai: A Nagpur-bound Air India flight, which took off from Mumbai on Sunday evening, landed back at the city airport within two hours. "Flight AI 623, an Airbus 320, took off from Mumbai at 2028 hours and returned at 2213 hours," a Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) spokesperson said.
"The reasons (for the aircraft's return) are not immediately known. This is not a case of emergency landing," the spokesperson said to a query.
All the passengers on board are safe, the spokesperson added.
