Drunk Kingfisher Airlines passengers booked

Kolkata: Three airline passengers were booked for creating nuisance in public at an altitude of over 20,000 ft after they took merry swigs from a bottle of liquor they were carrying. Their action followed the airline crew's refusal to serve them from the bar on board.
On Friday, three passengers on board the Kingfisher Airlines flight from Bangkok to Kolkata demanded whisky as soon as the flight was airborne. According to the airline crew, the trio from Jodhpur reeked of liquor, indicating that they had already consumed a fair amount before boarding the aircraft. Fearing trouble if the three drank more, the air-hostess called the crew manager on board, who informed the passengers that it would not be possible to serve hard drinks to them.
This led to a heated exchange of words. But when the airline crew remained firm, the trio pulled out a bottle of whisky from their handbag and began drinking from it. They allegedly ignored the crew's protests and continued to take swigs from the bottle.
