Kingfisher flight makes emergency landing at Dabolim

Vasco: A Mumbai-Bangalore Kingfisher airlines flight carrying 109 people made an emergency landing at Dabolim international airport on Monday morning after the left windshield glass of the airline developed multiple cracks.
At about 7.55am, the Kingfisher flight IT 101/Air Bus 320, which took off from Mumbai, contacted and informed the airport traffic control at Dabolim airport that it needed to make an emergency landing. There were 101 passengers and 8 crew members on board.
The ATC immediately made arrangements for the landing and at about 8.10am the flight landed at the airport.
Sources said, "The windshield glass suddenly developed multiple cracks after the plane left Mumbai. Sensing danger, pilot Capt Rajnish Verma, brought the flight to a lower altitude."
