Fake airport pass scam: Cops close on the heels of kingpin

New Delhi: Months after the fake pass scam was unearthed by CISF and the IGI police, the cops say they are hot on the heels of the main accused, Prabha, who will be nabbed soon. Sources said the woman was tracked down after another case of cheating was registered against her at the IGI police station.
"A fresh case was registered after another victim surfaced, claiming that the accused cheated him of Rs 70,000 by promising him a job in Air India. The transaction, the victim claimed, took place on the airport premises," said R A Sanjeev, DCP (IGI airport).
"It was while working on this case that we finally zeroed in on the main accused, whom we hope to arrest soon. So far two people have been arrested, while a third accused has surrendered before the court," said an airport source.
