New Delhi: Passengers of an Air India aircraft that landed at IGI Airport on Thursday night remained on board for almost 40 minutes as the aerobridge operator was no where to be found.
The aircraft from Chennai that landed around 9.15pm docked at bay 27 about five minutes later. However, much to the dismay of the passengers, its door remained shut till about 9.50pm.
"We landed on time but were told by the crew that there was nobody to operate the aerobridge. Some passengers called airport officials from their phones but to no avail. This is extremely poor management," said a passenger.
