New Delhi: Passengers of early morning flights of national carrier Air India were stranded at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport here as nearly 10 pilots called in sick Saturday, leading to cancellation of some flights.
"Eight out of 16 flights in the time slot of 5-9 a.m. which were supposed to depart from New Delhi to various destinations have been cancelled," a senior Air India official told IANS.
"Nearly 10 pilots have called in sick, causing the situation," he added.
