Appoint docs to test pilots, says DGCA

Mumbai: With a view to promote flight safety, the DGCA has now asked airlines, aircraft charter operators and airport operators to appoint aviation medicine specialists.
All airlines have a team of aviation medicine specialists at their head office and base stations. But under the general advisory circular, brought into effect on Tuesday, the DGCA has recommended that airlines should employ aviation medicine specialists at bases where ten or more flight crew are stationed.
