Mumbai: The anti-corruption unit of the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) has registered a criminal case under the Prevention of Corruption Act against Amod Sharma, ex-director in Flight Services and V Shrikrishna, former director of Material Air India.
The two were booked allegedly for financial irregularities in the purchase of Potable Entertainment Appliances from private firms and causing loss to the government exchequer.
According to the CBI, a search was conducted on Thursday and Friday at 13 places in Mumbai and Delhi in the office and residential premises of the accused persons.
