DGCA meets NSOP, private operators

New Delhi: In view of the ensuing state elections, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) held a meeting with Non-Scheduled Operator's Permit (NSOP) and private operators here on Tuesday.
In this regard DGCA has issued Air Safety Circular 2 of 2012 on “Operation of small aircraft/helicopter - adherence to safety guidelines” for compliance by various stakeholders.
Letters have also been issued to Chief Secretaries of Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, for ensuring Safety of aircraft operation during election period.
