AIYF flays YC(I), MLA on Aranmula project

Pathanamthitta: All-India Youth Federation (AIYF) State joint-secretary, Manoj Charalel, has strongly condemned the march staged by the Youth Congress (I) here on Tuesday demanding implementation of the proposed Aranmula airport project.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the AIYF leader alleged that the march was a clear testimony to the support extended to the ‘land mafia’ by the YC(I) and its State leadership.
It was a mockery on the part of the State leadership of the youth organisation of the ruling Congress(I) to stage a march on behalf of a private company that have violated all the prevailing laws of the land in the name of an airport project at Aranmula.
The AISF leader alleged that it was a shame on the Youth Congress(I) and its State president, P.C. Vishnunath, MLA, who is also a member of the State Legislature Committee on Environment to argue in public for a private company that have illegally converted natural streams, wetland and paddy fields at Aranmula.
