SpiceJet to connect Surat with four other destinations

Surat: After Delhi, Mumbai and Mangalore, Surti high-fliers can now fly to some other important destinations like Kolkata, Goa, Bengaluru and Coimbatore.
With the successful launch of its maiden flight service connecting the diamond city with Delhi, Mumbai and Mangalore, SpiceJet now has added four new destinations which will facilitate a large section of residents and business people from these cities to directly fly to the textile and diamond hub.
Flight service to Goa, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Bengaluru was announced by SpiceJet on Friday. Surti passengers now will be able to directly travel to Goa and Coimbatore after change of aircraft at Mumbai. Whereas, for Kolkata and Bengaluru, even the return journey will be possible after change of aircraft at Delhi and Mumbai.
Official sources said Goa is a favourite tourist destination among Surti travellers and the direct flight service will give a boost to tourism.
