Air connectivity to Mysore

Mysore: The city is all set to get back its air connectivity with Jet Airways likely to operate two flights from the end of April much to the relief of the business community.
This was confirmed by District in-charge Minister S.A. Ramdas at a press meet held at the Government House here this morning.
Elaborating on the subject, Ramdas said that negotiations were through with officials of Jet Airways and the flights would probably commence from the airline late next month after some preparations.
It may be recalled, Kingfisher airlines, which was operating flights to and from Mysore, had withdrawn the same recently.
Airport expansion: Regarding the Mandakalli Airport expansion work, Ramdas pointed out that the land acquisition process should commence once the payments were done to the farmers and the Airport would be developed as planned.
