Ajit Singh to inaugurate India Aviation 2012

New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh will inaugurate the third edition of India’s bi-annual international exhibition and conference on civil aviation at Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The theme of India Aviation 2012, being held from 14 to 18 March, is ‘India: The Emerging Aviation Hub’ in which the growth opportunities in the Indian aviation sector will be showcased and shared with the stakeholders.
“It would help in addressing a wide range of issues, including building a successful and sustainable future, climate change and security challenges,” a statement from the ministry said.
The first two editions of ‘India Aviation’ in 2008 and 2010 were a huge success.
France will be the focus country for the event, while UK will be the partner country and US the guest country.
“Pavilions from UK, France, USA, Russia, Belgium, New Zealand, Canada and several other countries are being established in the show. The event will witness over 25 aircraft for static and flying display at the show,” the statement said.
