CISF officer shoots self at IGI, survives

New Delhi: Chaos prevailed at the Indira Gandhi International airport on Sunday evening after a CISF personnel tried to shoot himself with his service pistol. The victim, Moolchand, is an assistant sub-inspector with the Central Industrial Security Forces and is currently undergoing treatment at Safdurjung Hospital.
Police have not been able to ascertain the motive behind his attempt. However, cops suspect that Moolchand could have been in depression as he had returned from his house on Saturday after a month long leave.
