New Delhi: Jet Airways will pay its February service tax dues by 12th of this month, a senior airline official said on Saturday.
“Yes there has been a slight delay of a few days in paying the service tax for the month but we will pay it along with interest by Monday. No accounts of the airline have been frozen,” the airline’s Senior Vice-President, Finance, Mr Mahalingam Shivkumar, told Business Line.
Service tax dues for February should have been deposited in the account latest by March 6, which the airline has failed to do. The airline’s monthly service tax payment amounts to about Rs 35 crore.
