Kingfisher suspends Kochi operations

Nedumbaserry: The crisis–ridden Kingfisher Airlines, as part of scaling down its operations, has suspended its Kochi operations from Sunday onwards.
According to officials, the airport operator has received an official note from the airline with regard to the withdrawal of all its services on a temporary basis.
“Despite setting the final date as March 25, they are now expected to continue for two more days and wind up the operations thereafter,' said a senior airport official.
Earlier, the carrier had served a letter to the airport, saying that all its operations from the city would remain grounded from March 25.
