Patna: Bihar Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary today asked the Privilege Committee to probe the alleged misbehaviour by some employees of a private airliner with ailing JD(U) MLA Damodar Singh.
The airliner employees allegedly did not allow him to board a flight to New Delhi for treatment last month.
As soon as JD(U) MLA Manjeet Singh read out the privilege notice against some employees of the private airlines under sections 242 and 243 of the Rules of Procedure, Chaudhary asked the privilege committee to probe the matter and submit a report to him.
The conduct of the airlines' employees amounted to 'an insult to the house' and the members should take the matter seriously,' he said.
