Repaired Gulf Air plane to fly back

The Gulf Air flight that had nosedived at the Kochi airport more than seven months ago, is all set to fly back to Bahrain by the middle of next month.
The repair works of the aircraft which are progressing at the upcoming MRO facility at the Kochi airport, is almost complete.
“.. Originally, the test ride was scheduled for Wednesday but we have postponed it by two days. The Airbus and the airline engineers will complete the remaining technical work in a short time,” an airline official said.
The flight GF 270, which was carrying 137 passengers and eight members of the crew, skidded off the runway on August 29, last while landing and nosedived into the slushy area nearby.
