Hyderabad: Evidently angry with the organisers were? visitors at the third edition of the international conference of civil aviation in Hyderabad on Saturday.
From parking spaces to the walkway, lack of shelters, high-handedness of security guards, they definitely had a lot to complain about. The fourth day of the five-day India Aviation 2012, which was open for the general public, witnessed disappointed and exhausted visitors.
Organisers at FICCI informed Express that tickets of both sessions were sold out, which included 5,000 tickets per session. Tickets for both the sessions of the fifth day were made available at the venue late in the evening.
“I was already tired by the time I got an entry into the exhibition. We had to park our vehicle at the Hyderabad Public School and walk for more than two km in the heat till the entrance and then queue for more than 30 minutes to enter the place,” said Ashok Gandi, an IBM employee. Adding to this was his wife Gayatri Devi, who said “our three-year-old daughter loves planes, so we brought her here. But, there are no shelters here to even get some shade.”
