SpiceJet scouts for creative partner

New Delhi: Low-cost carrier SpiceJet is on the lookout for a creative partner. The airline company is considering five to six agencies, which have been asked to present their ideas and from within these agencies, the final decision will be taken by next month.
Industry sources have confirmed the development to afaqs!, on condition of anonymity. SpiceJet, however, remained unavailable for comment at the time of filing this report.
Currently, the business is handled by Contract Advertising's Delhi office. SpiceJet's agreement ends with the agency this month.
Contract Advertising won the business in December, 2008, following a multi-agency pitch that involved agencies such as Ogilvy, Bates, M&C Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Lowe. M&C Saatchi and Contract Advertising were shortlisted in the final round.
Before this, the account was handled by Gopika Chowfla Design.
