Itanagar: The skies of north east Indian state Arunachal Pradesh, set along the pristine hills of the Himalayas, were officially opened for aviation tourism on Wednesday.
A chartered flight, with eight tourists on board landed in Menchukha, which is located along the border shared with China on Wednesday, an official said.
“The flight of the North East Shuttle took off on Wednesday from Guwahati, followed the Guwhati-Jorhat-Lilabari-Aalo route and landed at Menchukha,” an Arunchal government official said.
