Ahmedabad: With the VS Hospital all set to sport a helipad, the next question that hovers on every mind is, who will provide the air ambulance services? For the time being, the buck stops at the government door, which is allegedly sitting on EMRI 108’s proposal to start air ambulance services in state.
Meanwhile, with intentions of taking its 108 emergency services to the sky, GVK EMRI has proposed plans to start Heli Emergency Services and if everything goes as per its plans, it may soon get wings literally. It has proposed to the state government of air lifting patients directly to hospitals in critical emergency situation.
