Slovenian pilot on eco-friendly journey around the globe

Jaipur: Slovenian pilot Matevz Lenarcic, who is cross-crossing the globe using the least amount of fuel possible to promote eco-friendly aviation, today begin the next leg of his journey from here. The biologist and photographer-pilot who is flying solo with his Virus SW, an ultra-light plane, around the world landed at Sanganer airport here yesterday. The pilot, who began his expedition on January 7 from Ljubljana airport in Slovenia, said the expedition was not to set record but to promote eco-friendly aviation. Lenarcic said that he will also make a book of pictures, which he is capturing from the plane, on water theme.
