New Delhi: There were nine incidents of aircraft of the scheduled airlines landing under emergency condition from April last to March this year.
Between April to December last year there were seven such incidents, while this year two have been reported, Civil Aviation Minister said in the Lok Sabha in a written reply.
All these incidents except emergency landing due to onboard medical emergencies and the one in which the tail of an Air India plane scraped on the runway in Mumbai when landing were being investigated by Permanent Investigation Board (PIB), he said.
