Day 7 of AI strike: Pilots knock at minister’s door

New Delhi: The Air India strike saga continued on Monday even as the members of the Indian Pilots’ Guild (IPG) submitted documents to the aviation ministry to prove how their career growth had been hit. The IPG functionaries also went to aviation minister Ajit Singh’s house to submit the same papers but they could not meet the minister.
The minister has already made it clear that the government will not negotiate unless pilots start reporting to work.
“Why would anybody talk to everybody...There is no point. This is not negotiable. They struck work on certain issues, those issues are not there anymore. Let them withdraw (their strike), we will than review what should be done,” Singh said.
