Bangalore: Criticising the government for not naming the Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) after Tipu Sultan, various organisations, under the aegis of the Tipu Sultan United Front, will hold a protest here on May 29.
Referring to Union government's decision to name the airport as Kempe Gowda International Airport, front president Sardar Ahmed Qureshi pointed out that there were several statues of Bangalore's founder and many locations were also named after him.
