IA pilots can't avail of jump seats on AI

The battle of attrition between pilots of erstwhile Air India and Indian Airlines is no longer being fought on ground alone. Now AI pilots - who have not reported sick - have decided not to accept any IA pilot on their flights for travel on jump seats.
Jump seats are meant for the cabin crew (near entrances) and some economy class seats reserved for crew rest on long sectors, on which adult staff ticket holders can be allowed to sit if all passenger seats are occupied. AI executive commanders said this decision was taken due to two reasons.
