Kingfisher yet to clear Rs 280-crore AAI dues

Kingfisher Airlines, which is reeling under more than Rs 7,000 crore (Rs 70 billion) of debt, owes dues of about Rs 280 crore (Rs 2.8 billion) to the Airports Authority of India.
"Kingfisher owes dues of Rs 279.52 crore (Rs 2.79 billion) towards landing and parking, RNFC, Licence Fee, etc, to Airport Authority of India," Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
He said continuous monitoring is done by the AAI to ensure that airlines pay their dues in time.
