Mamata brings aviation concessions for Bengal

Kolkata: Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again left the Opposition Marxists behind in the skill of wrenching the maimum out of the Central Government. The concessions she extracted from Delhi in the aviation sector seems to be a glaring case.
While the Marxists had miserably failed in extracting Bengal’s share from the UPA-I which it had propped from 2004 till 2008 stood the Banerjee has come up trumps in obtaining an assurance of Rs 2 lakh crore investment in the aviation sector generating employment opportunities in the coming years.
Bengal would soon see a host of projects coming up related to air services, the Chief Minister said on Monday after a meeting with Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh.
