Other cities in Uttar Pradesh need to be connected to Air Traffic says CM Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh chief minister Shri Akhilesh yadav on Saturday stressed the need of connecting important cities of the state to air traffic. Assuring of full support to any and all projects in the civil aviation sector for the state mooted by the Union government, the chief minister requested the central government to upgrade the existing airports in the state.
The chief minister said that when the proposal to open up a National Aviation University in the state would come before his government, all support and help would be extended to it on priority basis. Other than this, he announced, all villages adjoining the Amausi airport in Lucknow would be developed as role model villages under the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Samagra Gram Vikas Yojna.
The chief minister made these announcements during his address at the inauguration of the new terminal at the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport at Amausi in Lucknow. The sprawling terminal spread across 20,000 square meters was inaugurated by the union civil aviation minister Shri Ajeet Singh in presence of the Hon'ble governor his Excellency BL Joshi and the chief minister Shri Akhilesh Yadav.
