New Delhi: A businessman was drugged and robbed of his wallet, which contained his ATM card, and mobile phone by a person whom the victim had befriended at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Sunil Kumar Shukla in his police complaint said he met Manoj Kumar Pandey in the immigration queue in Kathmandu. They then boarded an Indigo Airlines flight to Delhi and got acquainted while on board.
Police were told that Shukla and Pandey decide to share a taxi to travel to Kashmere Gate ISBT from the Delhi airport. During the journey, Shukla said, he was drugged and fell unconscious. He said when he came to consciousness he was lying by the roadside near the ISBT and his valuables were missing.
