VATA seeks round-the-clock operations

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Air Travellers' Association (VATA) has appealed to the government to provide the necessary manpower support for round-the-clock operations at the Visakhapatnam Airport.
In letters to Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh and Union Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju and Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development D. Purandeswari and Minister for Infrastructure and Investments Ganta Srinivasa Rao, VATA representative O. Naresh Kumar has said that the Singapore airlines announced its decision to start direct flights to Singapore from October 1, three times a week.
