Flight leaves without MoS though he arrives on time

Bhopal: Minister of State for Public Service Management Brijendra Pratap Singh remained stranded at Raja Bhoj airport here on Saturday after Air India staff prevented him from boarding the Delhi-bound aircraft.
The Minister, along with two officials, was scheduled to go to New York to receive the United Nations Public Service award on behalf of the State. The Minister was in possession of a valid ticket for New Delhi, but the Air India staff did not entertain it saying there is no room in the aircraft. He was also informed that the company follows a first come first serve' policy, under which those who reached early had been allowed to board the flight.
The Deputy Secretary of his department boarded the flight only a few minutes before the Minister. Singh told mediapersons that he had reached Bhopal airport to board the Air India flight scheduled for New Delhi an hour prior to his departure. However, he was not provided with the boarding pass.
