Juhu Aerodrome set for redevelopment

Mumbai: The Juhu airport authorities have finally managed to resolve a potentially damaging situation, after they brought back a contractor who had backed out of the airport’s redevelopment project.
Reliable sources have revealed that consultant architect DK Associates from New Delhi, who had backed out of the project, has now agreed to design it. “Executives and architects from the company visited the airport site and conducted a survey last week. They have now agreed to participate in the project,” said Juhu airport director M. Yadgiri.
The project has been approved by the Airport Authority of India’s (AAI) central headquarters in Delhi, where officials have managed to defuse the situation after holding talks with the consultant.
