The disappointment among the trading community over non-inclusion of Madurai in the list of international airports was palpable.
"Madurai airport possesses a high-tech integrated world class terminal building built at a cost of Rs 130 crore. The runway was extended to 7500 feet to facilitate introduction of international flights.
