Terminally delayed airport

Calcutta airport’s litany of missed deadlines just grew longer with officials ruling out the promised transition from two inadequate terminals to an integrated one by Puja.
“For the integrated terminal to be fully functional by October, all construction activity and installation of equipment would need to be completed by next month. That looks an impossible target as of now,” a senior official of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) told Metro.
