Chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda’s strong objection against shifting of Aero India show out of Bangalore seems to have had the desired effect. The defence ministry has assured the chief minister that the show would continue to be held in Bangalore.
Gowda on Wednesday said the state had received a communication from the ministry, saying that the show will continue in the city. The assurance came after a strong-worded letter from the chief minister, opposing any moves to shift Aero India out of the city.
