Visakhapatnam: The State government should consider revival of the air strips at Badangi (Vizianagaram district), Donakonda (Prakasam district), Ramagundam (Karimnagar), and Adilabad (Adilabad district) and develop them into small airports to provide intra-state connectivity, according to Air Travellers’ Association (India) president D. Varada Reddy.
While welcoming the decision of the State government to develop the airports at Tadepalligudem, Tirupati, Nellore, Kadapa, and Warangal, he recalled that the ATA(I) has been demanding revival of the old air strips built during the World War II in Andhra Pradesh.
