Aviation security personnel trained to speak in English:CISF

Arakkonam: Central Industrial Security Force has trained its first batch of aviation security personnel to converse and communicate fluently in English, which will immensely help foreign and non Hindi-speaking passengers using domestic and international air terminals across the country, a top CISF official said today.
"In a new initiative, spoken and written English classes were also conducted for these trainees in order to make them fluent in English as this is a necessary requirement for interface at airports," CISF Director General Rajiv said.
A total of 726 Assistant Security Inspectors (Executive), including 118 women, were inducted into the CISF as the first batch of Aviation Security personnel after they completed their 45-week basic training at the Regional Training Centre near here.
