Panaji: Five persons, including three women, were today apprehended from the Goa airport for allegedly forging a stamp on their passports, police said.
The sleuths of CID (Immigration) department arrested all the five before they could board the Air Arabia flight for Sharjah.
Srinivas Rao (35) and Madarsahid Shaikh (36), both from Andhra Pradesh, were held along with Genesia Sheikh (40) from Andhra Pradesh, Cangrool Laila Parokutti Ali (34) from Kerala and Fakira Begam (40) from Karnataka at the airport this morning, a police spokesperson said.
