Mumbai airport: 262 flights delayed by more than 15 minutes in June

Mumbai: As per a monthly data released by Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL), a total of 262 flights were delayed by more than 15 minutes of the scheduled time of arrival or departure in the month of Jun. As per the data, 158 arriving flights were delayed while 104 departures were behind time.
The airport officials said that the number of delays have dropped considerably after Kingfisher airline curtailed its schedule. "This means that the actual quantum of delays has not gone down. They have only reduced in proportion to the decrease in the number of flights,"" an airport official said.
