Mumbai among bottom 3 cities in international passenger growth

Mumbai: Though international passenger traffic saw an increase of 4.8% this summer, Mumbai—the financial capital of India—stood third from the bottom of the ratings chart in terms of passenger growth.
In contrast, Tier II cities like Guwahati, Cochin, Coimbatore and Lucknow lead the growth, according to data released by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) for the period of April-May, 2012.
