Solar power project for airport

Kochi: The Cochin International Airport Limited is planning to install a solar photovoltaic power system at the terminal building this year. An agency experienced in designing and commissioning of solar PV system will be entrusted with the task of setting up a pilot project having 100 Kwp capacity.
The plan is to set up the rooftop system to be connected to the existing power grid, so as to reduce the electricity consumption at the airport.
