SpiceJet to connect Delhi to more North Indian cities

New Delhi: After connecting southern India with its newly acquired Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop aircraft, low-cost carrier SpiceJet will launch new services using the planes from the national capital to various north Indian cities from next week.
In the first phase of north India expansion, SpiceJet will connect to Amritsar, Chandigarh, Srinagar and Indore, a statement from the airline said.
The carrier also announced that New Delhi would be its third base after Hyderabad and Chennai for its new Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop fleet to serve affordable air connectivity for more destinations in North India.
