Yusuf Ali resigns from Air India board

Thiruvananthapuram: Gulf-based Kerala businessman M.A. Yusuf Ali has resigned as member of Air India’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Yusuf Ali, who has been serving on the board of the national carrier since 2010, announced his decision to step down in the Gulf on Saturday, citing his inability to do anything substantive for Malayalis living and working in the Gulf countries over the last two years.
“I have been trying to do my best for Malayalis living in Gulf over the last two years, but I have not been able to show any results,” he said.
