AAI mulls reducing landing charges for more flights to A'bad

Ahmedabad: In an attempt to attract more airlines to start their service from the city, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has come up with a marketing plan that includes offering concession in landing, parking and night parking charges. Speaking on the sidelines, during a one-day workshop on ‘Aviation & Bird Menace’ GJ Chaukiyal, member (operations), said that the marketing plan was designed to attract more international and domestic flights to 20 airports of the country, including Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
He said that several factors like bilateral treaties also play an important role in attracting more international flights.
